Maruti Vitara Brezza Mileage – 24.3 km/l (ARAI certified)
The Maruti Vitara Brezza will be offered with only a diesel engine initially. The oil-burner is a 1.3-litre MultiJet unit that powers a lot of other cars too. It will be offered in its higher tune, thus producing 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency is 24.3 km/l which is higher than what the competition is offering.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza will be competing in the popular compact SUV segment and it will be rivalling the Mahindra TUV300 and Ford EcoSport. Pricing is going to be key and knowing Maruti, we know they’ll price the product very aggressively. The compact SUV will be sold through the company’s regular dealerships and not through the NEXA chain.
