Hero showcased the Maestro Edge with new body graphics and the Xtreme Sports with a new dual-tone shade based on white with blue graphics.
Hero unveiled the Xtreme 200S and Splendour iSmart along with innovative concepts such as the XF3R and the electric Duet at the 2016 Auto Expo. The country’s largest automaker also showcased the Maestro Edge with new body graphics and the Xtreme Sports with a new dual-tone theme at the expo where it won the award for the best two-wheeler pavilion.
Hero Maestro Edge
The Hero Maestro Edge was first launched in Columbia as the Hero Dash with the same body graphics, however the Indian market only got the plain colours. The automaker seems to have saved it for showcase at the prestigious Indian motor show. The scooter with new body colours will reach showrooms soon.
The Hero Maestro Edge did not undergo any mechanical change and is powered by a 110.9cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.31 BHP at 8000 RPM and 8.3 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM while this engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. The instrument console also remains unchanged.
Hero Xtreme Sports
The Hero Xtreme Sports was offered in six mono colours and one dual-tone colour theme while the Indian automaker has added one more dual-tone colour to the lineup. The new theme is based on white and sports blue coloured body graphics on the fuel tank, front mudguard and side cowl.
The changes are only limited to body graphics while the mechanical details remain the same. The street-fighter is powered by a 149.2cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 15.6 BHP at 8500 RPM and 13.5 Nm pf torque at 7000 RPM. This engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
