Hero unveiled new white and orange dual-tone colour theme for the Karizma and white and red paint scheme for the Karizma ZMR at the 2016 Auto Expo.
Hero unveiled new dual-tone colour options for the Karizma and Karizma ZMR at the 2016 Auto Expo where it also won the award for best two-wheeler stall. The Karizma got a new white and orange option with grey accents on the fuel tank while the fully-faired ZMR got a new white and red theme.
The new colour themes on the Hero Karizma and the fully faired sibling ZMR are expected to be launched soon while no mechanical changes can be seen on either of them. The current generation of the faired bikes does not seem to have impressed buyers and hence the new colour themes are expected to break some ice.
The current colour options on the Hero Karizma include Sports Red, Daring Yellow, Ebony Grey, Spotlight White and Power Black while the Spotlight White, Panther Black, Vibrant Orange and Blazing Red are offered on the fully faired ZMR. Both the new colour themes will be offered in addition to these options.
Hero Karizma
The Hero Karizma is powered by a 223cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 19.2 BHP at 7500 RPM and 19.35 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM while the the same engine powers the ZMR but produces 20 BHP at 8000 RPM and 19.7 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM due to the added fuel injection system with oil-cooler.
Hero Karizma ZMR
Hero in collaboration with Honda launched the Karizma in 2003 and it was a hit immediately due to the young appeal and the powerful engine. A few years later in 2009, the Karizma ZMR was launched with full-fairing and fuel-injection which was again appreciated by buyers while both the motorcycles got a facelift in 2014, post which sales have declined drastically.
