TVS has launched the XL 100 with a 99.7cc four stroke engine. It is exclusively for the Tamil Nadu market and has been priced at Rs. 29,539/- (ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu).
In the year 2015, the TVS XL Super crossed the 1 crore sales mark. Now, TVS has launched the four-stroke XL 100. It has been launched especially for the Tamil Nadu market. The new XL 100 has been designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s customers. It is one of the most affordable, reliable, easy to ride and powerful multi-utility two-wheeler in the market. It is target towards rural and lower middle class people.
The TVS XL 100 is powered by a 99.7cc air-cooled, four–stroke engine. The motor produces 4.14 BHP of power and 6.3 Nm of torque. Under simulated testing conditions, the two-wheeler touches a top speed of 60 km/hr and returns a mileage of 67 km/l. The moped comes with a detachable seat and a robust rear flatbed platform with a payload of 130 kgs. It has a 4-litre fuel tank which gives it a range of around 200 kms. The XL 100 has been priced at Rs. 29,539/- (ex-showroom, Tamil Nadu) and is available in three colours.
The low weight, telescopic suspension (missing in many pricier scooters), large wheels and low price make this moped a great buy for those who want a workhorse.
