The MV Agusta superbikes will be available via exclusive Motoroyale dealerships across the country with the Brutale available for purchase while the F3 800 will arrive next year.
The stallions have landed in India as MV Agusta S.p.A. of Italy has officially commenced operations in the country and launched the Brutale 1090 street-fighter at an introductory price of Rs. 17.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). The MV Agusta F3 800 was also unveiled at the same event. The Italian automaker has collaborated with the Kinetic Group that will be providing spares, service and after-sales support for MV Agusta customers in India.
Talking about the super desirable bikes, first up is the insanely beautiful MV Agusta Brutale 1090 which is powered by a 1078cc four-cylinder engine tuned to produce 144 HP and 112 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is renowned for its intense acceleration levels and has a top speed of 265 km/hr. The Brutale comes with a host of electronics onboard including 8-stage traction control and ABS while the delivery period is 2-3 weeks.
Up next, the MV Agusta F3 800 is regarded as one of the most beautifully designed superbikes in the world with sharp lines, single headlight cluster and triple exhaust unit with the intoxicating exhaust note, all done up with the quintessential Italian flair. The F3 800 draws power from a 798cc three-cylinder engine tuned to produce 148 HP and has a top speed of 269 km/hr. Like the F3 800, the bike comes with 8-stage traction control and ABS as standard. The MV Agusta F3 800 will go on sale in the country by early 2016 with prices to be announced closer to launch.
That said, prices for the MV Agusta F3 800 can be expected north of the Rs. 20 lakh mark (ex-showroom). As part of its strategy, the Kinetic Group will set up a chain of superbike showrooms called ‘Motoroyale,’ in major metro cities in order to retail the high-end superbikes. Both models will be coming in the country via the CBU route and are one of the top names in the performance motorcycle space. With MV making its presence felt, we can surely hope the F4 to arrive eventually.
