The Triumph Tiger XCA is the top-of-the-line off-roader available from the British brand and differentiates itself with rider focused technology and rider convenience features.
Expanding its highly capable off-roading motorcycle range in the country, Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched the new Tiger 800 XCA in India priced at Rs. 13.75 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Tiger 800 XCA off-roader motorcycle is the range-topping model of the Tiger XC series, positioned above the XCX and boasts of the familiar tourer styling seen throughout the off-roader series in the company’s lineup.
Triumph says that the XCA is differentiated from other models courtesy of a host of rider focused technology along and standard features equipped to maximise comfort and convenience on the longest rides. The off-roader features a larger capacity 650-watt alternator that is used to power the heated rider and pillion seats, heated grips, and LED fog lights offered as standard. In addition, the system powers other ancillary devices including the GPS system or heated clothing. The bike also comes equipped with the fitment of pannier rails for the optional Triumph Expedition aluminium pannier system.
Mechanicals remain the same as the 2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XCA draws power from an 800cc in-line, three-cylinder engine tuned to produce 95 PS of power and 79 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed transmission. The engine comes with a ride-by-wire throttle system for better response and Showa suspension setup. You also get multiple riding modes, throttle maps, switchable ABS, cruise control and traction control on the XCA like its other siblings. Triumph is offering the Tiger 800 XCA in two new colour options – Khaki Green and Crystal White.
