The Suzuki Gixxer SF special edition helmet will be available from the second half of September this year exclusively at the company dealerships.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF has managed to garner followers everywhere with its Hayabusa inspired looks, while the dedicated performance only made the full faired bike’s prospects better in the 150cc segment. It is also one of the best bikes to opt for around the Rs. 1 lakh mark at present and looks something in that MotoGP racing blue tones. Adding to its list of positives, Suzuki has now introduced something special for the Gixxer SF lovers in the country in the form of a special edition helmet priced at Rs. 2199/-.
A first of its kind offering in India, this product specific ‘special edition’ helmet will be exclusively available at Suzuki showrooms. The helmet gets done up in the same MotoGP edition livery as the bike finished in racing blue and neon green colours with Suzuki insignia. It is still unclear as to which company has the helmet been sourced from or its safety standards. However, we can see that the visor is scratch resistant. Also, it really doesn’t make sense as to why Suzuki would offer an off-roading specific helmet for a bike it calls street sport and even promotes a one make race Gixxer Cup.
Nevertheless, the Suzuki Gixxer SF special edition helmets can be had in medium, large and extra-large sizes, but will only be available for purchase from the second half of September. Meanwhile, Gixxer SF owners and fans wanting to add this helmet to their collection can head over to the nearest Suzuki showroom and make a booking for one of these. Internationally, Suzuki does retail riding gear and even GSXR specific helmets that meet DOT and SNELL safety standards.
