The EcoSport Urban Pack limited edition model gets additional accessories including illuminated scuff plates, sports pedals, roof crossbars, rear spoiler, parking sensors and aluminium pedals.
Adding a sporty touch to its compact SUV, Ford has launched the Urban Pack limited edition for the EcoSport in Philippines with production restricted to 500 units. The Urban Pack adds a host of additional accessories on the model improving its aesthetic appeal and practicality quotient over the standard version. For the exteriors, the EcoSport limited edition gets upgraded with roof crossbars, rear spoiler and parking sensors, as well as new front and rear bumper garnish finished in brush silver lending a dual tone finish.
Updates are minimal inside the cabin with the Ford EcoSport Urban Pack edition adding new aluminium finished sport pedals and illuminated scuff plates. Other features remain the same with the all black cabin boasting of SYNC system with Bluetooth and Voice Control, multi-function steering control, MID unit and much more. Safety tech on the EcoSport includes dual front airbags, ABS, ESP, Hill Launch Assist, keyless entry with Push Start Button among other equipment.
Unlike India which gets a diesel heart, the Philippines spec Ford EcoSport is available only with a 1.5-litre TiVCT petrol engine that is tuned to produce 110 PS of power at 6300 RPM and 142 Nm of torque at 4500 RPM, paired to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed Powershift automatic transmission options. In the Indian market, Ford is reportedly working on an updated version of the EcoSport that could go on sale this fiscal and will induce some freshness amidst new competition.
