Probably one of the most tested motorcycles to be launched in the Indian market, the Mahindra Mojo is in the production stages at present and will be launched in the country next month. One thing good about the wait is that Mahindra’s flagship offering has been able to stack up quite an interest in the two-wheeler market as a result of which the Mojo does not need any introduction to the masses. The bike has been caught testing time and again in various parts across the country, but for the first time ever it’s been caught on video.
Not just the motorcycle, but the Mahindra Mojo’s exhaust note has been made available much to the delight of many enthusiasts. The video shows the bike, which is most likely a test mule being started up and revved a bit, revealing the throaty exhaust sound coming from the signature twin outlets. The 296cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine gives out a good sound with a soft whistle silhouette, similar to the one heard on the KTM RC 390.
The engine is expected to churn out approximately 30 BHP of power and the Mojo will be an attractive proposition if priced right. Its rear end with the two exhaust outlets on either side, wide rear wheel and the classy looking LED tail light are definitely the best looking part of the bike. It also features DRLs at the front along with upside down forks which adds to the premium feeling by a certain extent. Mahindra will most likely price the Mojo close to Rs. 1.4 lakhs (ex-showroom) and it will compete with the likes of the Pulsar RS 200, KTM Duke 200, Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR250R in the market.
