Interiors of the Ford Figo Aspire Titanium variant has been snapped up. It gets a dual-tone beige and black dashboard with beige coloured upholstery.
The Ford Figo Aspire compact sedan and Ford Figo hatchback are both due for a launch this year and has created much of a hype all around. The Figo Aspire sedan will be launching first in June this year, followed by the Figo hatchback launch later in October. The Figo Aspire has already commenced production in Ford’s new Sanand plant in Gujarat. The factory has an annual production capacity of 2,40,000 units along with 2,70,000 engines and it will be used to manufacture the upcoming car for both domestic and international markets. The Figo Aspire was revealed earlier this month and much of its features are now known, but so cannot be said about what kind of interiors the hatchback will have.
While we know that the interiors of the hatchback and the compact sedan will be different from each other, the Figo will get a cabin which is finished in grey colour (similar to the Fiesta) with black accentuates. The Figo Aspire will have a full black dashboard with piano black inserts, but will feature a beige coloured layout. Most of the other elements in the interiors are largely inspired by the EcoSport and Fiesta. Recent pictures of the Figo Aspire Titanium variant (top end trim) have revealed similar facts as stated above, the cabin is completely finished in beige while the centre console along with the door handles, which houses the power window switches is done in black. Parts sharing from the Fiesta and Ecosport is also very evident which altogether makes the interior a good place to be in. Rear legroom of the sedan looks pretty decent, as against the criticism faced by the Ford Fiesta.
Powering the Ford Figo Aspire is a 1.2-litre petrol motor and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The compact sedan also gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a dual-clutch 6-speed automatic transmission, as seen on the Ford EcoSport. The vehicle comes loaded with new features like the latest Ford multimedia system, which gets Ford AppLink with Bluetooth connectivity. The multimedia system can be controlled via voice commands and also features an SMS readout option, emergency assistant, phonebook and more. The Titanium variant does seem to get side airbags as well which definitely is a good safety feature.
