Bajaj will be launching the Pulsar 200 SS in India in March 2015. The company showcased the bike at the recent Motor Fair held in Turkey.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS has been getting a lot of buzz ever since it was first spotted and the 400 SS was unveiled. Bajaj has finished testing the bike in various parts of India but the company has been showcasing the product in other countries like Turkey since quite a while. The bike will be launched in India in March 2015 while it will make its debut in international markets by the second half of 2015. Bajaj had promised to launch six bikes in India this year and the company already launched the Platina 100 ES while the CT 100 will be launched soon. Apart from these, the Pulsar 200 SS, 150 NS and 200 AS will be launched in the market.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is powered by a 199.5cc fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 23.7 PS of power and 18.3 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Pulsar 200 SS will be launched in four different colour options that will give the bike a very nice and sporty appeal. The yellow and white combination that we see in the pictures looks particularly aggressive and all the sharp styling elements are clearly visible. The bike will also be offered with red and white, blue and white and black and gold colour schemes.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS also gets dual-channel ABS as an option. The bike will also be equipped with features like projector headlights and LED indicators and tail lights. After the launch of the 200 SS, the company will soon introduce the Pulsar 150 NS and 200 AS to the market. The Pulsar 400 SS will be launched in the last quarter of the next fiscal year because Bajaj wants KTM to dominate the higher capacity class segments while the Pulsar brand will continue to reign the 200cc segment.
