The limited edition version of the Duster has been announced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Dacia brand in western Europe and will debut the model at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Renault’s budget brand Dacia has been one of the best decisions to be made by the French automaker that helped the company survive the recession while also expand to newer markets with its range of budget offerings. Having completed ten years of the brand in western Europe, Dacia is celebrating the milestone by introducing limited-edition versions of its entire range including the Duster compact SUV at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
The Dacia Duster 10th Anniversary Limited Edition gets new exterior styling tweaks for an exclusive appeal and features a brand new Cosmos blue paint job, dark metal alloy wheels and door mirror housings. The blue effect has been carried over on the inside as well, as the black upholstery gets Sombre blue touches and grey top-stitching. In addition, the anniversary edition gets blue-hued seatbelts as well as blue-edged floor mats that complete the interior package on the Duster limited edition.
Apart from the new aesthetics, Dacia has also upgraded the equipment on the Duster limited edition. Based on the range-topping Laureate trim, the compact SUV comes loaded with leather-trimmed steering wheel, climate control, cruise control with speed limiter and as part of the limited edition package gets the new Dacia Media Nav Evolution multimedia system. The navigation system comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display and allows more function courtesy of the smartphone, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, Trafic Message Channel (TMC) information and hazard alert.
There have been no changes made to the engine options on the Dacia Duster Limited Edition and the SUV continues to draw power from the same 1.6-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines with Front-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive options available on offer. Apart from the Duster, the 10th anniversary limited edition is available across the Dacia range including the Sandero, Lodgy, Dokker and Logan models. The entire lineup will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show’s Dacia pavilion on 3rd March.
