The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS will be sold under the Kawasaki nameplate in Indonesia and gets a striking dual-tone colour combination comprising of black and gold as well as red and white.
The internet is flooded with spy shots of the Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS that has been spotted at quite a few places globally ranging from India, Indonesia, Turkey, Columbia and was recently also unveiled in Cambodia. The Pune-based automaker is sparing no expense to get the 200 SS right from the first time itself and has been testing the bike extensively for over a year now. With the bike already being showcased at events globally, clear images have emerged online from Indonesia showcasing the new 200 SS revealing its colour schemes for the South East Asian market.
Sold under the Kawasaki brand name in Indonesia, the Pulsar 200 SS will be offered in four dual-tone colours namely red and white, blue and white, yellow and white as well as black and gold. The interesting colour scheme compliments the supersports design that has been accepted and flaked upon equally by fans. The black and gold paint scheme in particular though is completely new and will be an interesting colour option that we reckon might just get popular in India.
Sharing its underpinnings with the Pulsar 200 NS, the new 200 SS uses the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that has been updated with fuel injection. Bajaj has also added a dual-channel ABS system on the full-faired bike for safer stopping. Expected to be launched in the following months, the 2015 Pulsar 200 SS is expected to be priced at around Rs. 1.35 lakhs in India and will compete against the Yamaha R15, Honda CBR150R and the likes in the same space. Bajaj is also working on the Pulsar 200 AS (Adventure Sport) that recently commenced testing. Make sure to check out the detailed images in the video below.
