The new 2015 Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS was revealed at a dealer only meet in Turkey in October this year, ahead of its official launch in the coming months. Since then the new flagship from Bajaj has been spotted a number of times on several occasions including the completely undisguised images emerging from Columbia as well. However, now a video has emerged from the dealer meet in Turkey showcasing the Pulsar doing some impressive stunts outside the venue on a wet road.
Known for its stunting prowess, the new video reiterates the sporty quotient of the Pulsar series and gives a rather pleasing glimpse on what the next generation of Pulsar mania will look like. The bike can perform wheelies, stoppies, donuts and much more, while creating a lot of smoke of the good kind. Sadly though, the audio has been edited and we don’t get to hear the exhaust note of the new Pulsar. With Bajaj churning out some very impressive advertisements over the years with the Pulsars, we can only imagine the 200 SS to be the star in its next one.
Coming to the mechanicals, the 2015 Pulsar 200 SS gets a 199.5cc single-cylinder engine with fuel injection for the international markets producing 24.4 PS of power, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The India spec model will get the FI system and the power has seen a slight bump over the NS to 23.70 PS. ABS has also been confirmed for the international version. Bajaj has already commenced production of the new Pulsar 200 SS with batches exported internationally, while the domestic launch is expected in early 2015.
