Certainly, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R was one of the most talked about models at the 2014 Intermot Motorcycle show that concluded last week. Now, while the Ninja H2R is a track only, untamed, supercharged, ridiculously fast beast; Kawasaki has teased a street legal version called the ‘H2’ that will be officially unveiled on 4th November at the EICMA Show in Milan. The street legal version will not be radically different in terms of aesthetics, but will get a rather toned-down fairing, vertically stacked twin-exhaust and a rear license plate holder, as seen in the teaser video with a couple of other changes.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R draws power from a 1.0-litre, supercharged, 4-cylinder fire-breathing engine producing 300 HP of power, and is capable of doing in excess of a reported 337 km/hr. The same unit will be seen on the street legal Ninja H2, but with the power output figures toned down close to 200 HP. That is still a whole lot of power to play around with for a street legal bike. The Kawasaki Ninja H2 will share the same trellis frame and possibly the carbon fibre fairing from the Ninja H2R that will make for an impeccable power to weight ratio on the super bike.

Complete details on the Kawasaki Ninja H2 will be available on 4th November at EICMA. In the mean time, make sure to check out the teaser video with the both the Ninja H2R and street-legal Ninja H2 side-by-side, and also the Ninja H2R showcasing its track friendliness on the test track with a supercharged background score that is sure to please your ears. We think the Ninja H2 could be the newest benchmark in the super sports category of motorcycles.
