The Fiat Avventura will be available in 3 variants namely Active, Dynamic and Emotion with the petrol variant available in the top 2 trims and the diesel variant available on all 3 trims.
With just weeks left for the launch of the Fiat Avventura in the country, the variant details of the Punto based crossover have been leaked online. Available with the 1.4-litre petrol and the 1.3-litre diesel engine options, the Avventura will be offered in three variants namely Active, Dynamic and Emotion with all three being available on the diesel version, while the petrol model comes only in the higher spec Dynamic and Emotion trims. Part of Fiat’s aggressive strategy for India, the Avventura comes packed with a loaded equipment list even on the base variants offering several segment first features.
Active – The base Active variant comes loaded with several features such as central locking, rear spoiler, rear foglamps, remote keyless entry, dual-tone dashboard, front power windows with auto-down function, programmable speed limiter, tilt steering, electric compass and inclinometer, ORVMs with blinkers, follow-me headlamps and 16-inch alloy wheels all of which are standard across the range.
Dynamic – In addition to the features on the Active variant, the Dynamic trim gets exact door opening indicator, electrically adjustable body coloured ORVMs, front fog lamps, door trim with fabric inserts, rear power windows, height adjustable driver’s seat, audio system with speed sensitive volume control, USB-AUX connectivity and external temperature display. Fiat has also added ABS and EBD as standard, but will only be available on the diesel variant.
Emotion – The top-of-the-line Emotion trim packs dual front airbags with early crash sensors, seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, height adjustable front seat belts, rear defogger and wiper, ambient lighting on the dashboard, rear air-con vents, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob, automatic climate control, 60:40 rear split seats, Blue & Me, voice recognition with SMS readout function and steering mounted audio controls.
The Fiat Avventura will be available in a total of 6 colours which have been carried over from the Punto and will be competing against the the Volkswagen Cross Polo, Toyota Etios Cross and even the Ford EcoSport in the segment. Apart from the impressive features list, the Avventura also boasts of higher ground clearance of 205 mm which will make its off-roading capabilities true to a certain extent. The Avventura is expected to be priced between Rs. 6.5 lakhs going up to Rs. 8.5 lakhs (ex-showroom).
