At round seven of theItalian Rally Championship Luca Rossetti and Matteo Chiarcossi finished third at the 45th Rally del Friuli e delle Alpi Orientali. The duo were in a in a Fiat Grande Punto Abarth S2000 and encountered extremely changeable weather conditions hampering their final result after they finished the first leg in the lead. Intermittent rain falls made tyre choice difficult, since sections under heavy showers alternated with others which were almost dry. A spin in the first stage of the day made Rossetti drop back and he then only had to try and keep his third place.
