Completing a year of sales in India, General Motors has launched the first anniversary edition of the Enjoy MPV that gets aesthetic enhancements and a host of free accessories and additional benefits to commemorate the milestone. The Chevrolet Enjoy was launched in May 2013 in India and has sold a total 20,000 units in the past year. This is excellent sales for a car which has its roots in China as the Indian market hasn’t accepted the new Sail hatchback and Sail U-VA sedan.
The Chevrolet Enjoy 1st Anniversary Edition gets accessories worth Rs. 43,000/- added to the list. The accessories package comprises of the Anniversary edition sticker, decal on the sides, chrome finish headlights, tail lights, door handles and number plate garnish; turn indicators mounted ORVMs and roof rails. On the inside, the cabin gets wood finished trims added. The First Anniversary Edition is available on the petrol as well as diesel models and gets a choice of 7 and 8-seating.
With no mechanical changes to the Anniversary Edition, the Chevrolet Enjoy is powered by the same 1.4-litre petrol motor that produces 100 PS of power and 131 Nm of torque, while the 1.3-litre diesel engine produces 75 PS of power and 173 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Anniversary edition will be available for a limited time only and has certainly made the Enjoy more feature rich than before. The Chevrolet Enjoy starts with a price tag of Rs. 5.74 lakhs.
