2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 launched with new off-road-focused GR-S trim
2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 launched in India, priced between Rs. 2.31 crores and Rs. 2.41 crores (ex-showroom). The launch brings an updated version of the iconic SUV alongside the debut of the GR-S variant, which caters to enthusiasts seeking enhanced off-road capabilities. Bookings for both the ZX and GR-S trims are now open.
Price and Market Position
The latest Land Cruiser 300 comes at a premium of Rs. 21 lakh over its predecessor. This price increase reflects the addition of new features, updated technology and improved safety systems. While the Land Cruiser 300 doesn’t have a direct competitor in India, its positioning aligns with luxury off-roaders such as the Land Rover Range Rover and the Mercedes-AMG G 63.
Feature Upgrades and Safety Enhancements
The 2025 model introduces several technological advancements and comfort features. The ZX variant now includes Toyota’s connected car suite, a digital instrument cluster, and a leatherette-finished gear knob. Standard features across both trims include a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4-zone climate control, a sunroof, ventilated seats for both rows, an 8-way powered driver’s seat with manual lumbar adjustment, a front cool box and a 360-degree camera.
Safety has also been bolstered with 10 airbags and Toyota’s Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), offering adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous braking and adaptive headlights.
GR-S Variant
The GR-S variant builds upon the ZX’s features with additional off-road technology. It comes equipped with front and rear differential locks, a rear limited-slip differential and features like crawl control, hill start and descent assist, multiple terrain modes, and an off-road monitoring system with four cameras. Exterior upgrades include black alloy wheels, a more aggressive front bumper, blacked-out trim elements, and GR badging. Inside, the GR-S sports a dark red and black interior theme, contrasting with the ZX’s beige and black options.
Performance and Powertrain
Both the ZX and GR-S variants are powered by the familiar 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine, delivering 309 HP and 700 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission, ensuring power is efficiently distributed to all four wheels. The drivetrain remains unchanged from the previous generation, maintaining the SUV’s balance between performance and refinement.
Colour Options and Availability
Toyota offers the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 in two exterior shades: Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black. Interior colour choices vary by variant, with the ZX offering neutral beige or black and the GR-S featuring a dark red and black theme.
With its refreshed features, advanced safety systems and the off-road-oriented GR-S trim, the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 continues to uphold its legacy as a premium SUV, catering to luxury buyers who value capability alongside comfort.
