Renault Triber facelift brings subtle design tweaks and interior upgrades
Renault is gearing up to update its popular sub-4m MPV, the Triber, with a facelift expected to debut later in 2025. This will mark the model’s first significant update since its initial launch six years ago. The upcoming facelift aligns with Renault India’s earlier confirmation that both the Triber and Kiger will undergo updates this year. While a test mule of the Kiger facelift was seen last month, the Triber’s refreshed version has now been spotted for the first time.
Design Updates
A camouflaged prototype of the facelifted Triber was recently seen undergoing road tests, primarily revealing its rear and side profile. While the overall shape remains familiar, minor design tweaks are anticipated. Elements such as the tail-lamps, bootlid and rear bumper appear largely unchanged. The side profile retains the distinct character line and upward window kink that define the current model.
Although the front fascia remains unseen in the latest spy images, the facelift is expected to feature sharper styling to align more closely with Renault’s global design language.
Interior Enhancements Likely
Inside the cabin, the Triber facelift is expected to receive mild revisions, with an emphasis on improved material quality and an updated feature set. Renault could introduce lighter shades and additional soft-touch materials, similar to the approach taken in the refreshed Nissan Magnite. The infotainment system and connectivity features may also see upgrades to enhance the overall user experience.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the Triber facelift is likely to retain its existing 1.0-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine. This unit produces 72 HP and 96 Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. There are no indications of mechanical changes, suggesting Renault will continue offering the tried-and-tested setup.
Launch Timeline
With Renault continuing to focus on refreshing its lineup, the Triber facelift is expected to be positioned as a value-for-money proposition in the compact MPV segment. More details about the model’s launch timeline, pricing, and additional features are expected to emerge closer to its official unveiling.
