2025 MG ZS design leaked, looks sharper than the outgoing generation
2025 MG ZS design leaked via patent images. The new generation model will gets substantial styling updates, new interior along with more features and most likely new powertrain options in the international market.
The next generation MG ZS is also expected to hit the Indian market soon after its global debut. In our country, MG offers the ZS as an all-electric offering and ZS Astor as the ICE offering that comes with two petrol engine options.
In terms of design, the new gen MG ZS looks sharper with the sleek new headlights, sporty grille design which seems to be larger, new sculpted bumper and sharp kink on the nose. The side profile will come with new alloy wheel design, strong shoulder line and black cladding on the lower-half of the body.
C-Pillar onwards, the new MG ZS resembles the BMW X1 to a great extent. Even the new tail lamps have a similar shape, which makes it look more premium. The tailgate has been redesigned to accommodate the number plate in the centre. The rear bumper gets dual tone treatment and seems like it will also get dual faux exhausts.
The carmaker will revamp the interior to give it a fresh look. The current model looks slightly outdated compared to the other rivals in the segment. As we all can expect with MG, it will be loaded with features to the brim including new larger touchscreen infotainment system, updated digital instrument cluster, new audio system, panoramic sunroof and more.
There are speculations that the new model will get a petrol strong hybrid engine option in the international market. We hope they offer the new hybrid powertrain in the Indian market as well along with the all-electric variant and the regular petrol powered variants of the Astor.
The new MG ZS will continue to compete with the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
