2025 Maruti Dzire starts reaching dealerships, new design langauge revealed
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the release of its next generation Dzire, which will officially launch on 11th November, 2024. With the debut approaching, the revamped compact sedan has already started arriving at dealerships across India, giving a glimpse of its refreshed design and updated features.
The 2024 Dzire introduces new aesthetic elements, including a fresh blue paint option alongside the existing red variant. The sedan’s front end sports a broader grille with horizontal slats, complemented by LED headlamps, circular fog lights and a redesigned bumper. On the side, dual-tone alloy wheels enhance its profile, while the rear features squared LED taillights with distinctive triangular graphics, reshaped bumper, chrome accent on the boot lid and a shark-fin antenna with an integrated rear windscreen stop lamp.
Inside, the next gen Dzire continues Maruti Suzuki’s familiar design approach, offering a large freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, multifunction steering wheel and a dual-tone black and beige interior. The updated model also includes new rectangular AC vents. Additional features are expected to include cruise control, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof and a blind spot monitor.
Under the hood, the new Dzire is powered by a 3-cylinder 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine, shared with the fourth-generation Swift. Outputting 80 BHP and 112 Nm of torque, the engine is likely to be paired with both a five-speed manual and an AMT gearbox option. A CNG variant is also expected to be in development, although Maruti Suzuki has yet to confirm its release timeline.
