The 2025 Kia Seltos updated in India with new variants and enhanced features
Kia has introduced the 2025 iteration of the Seltos in India, expanding its lineup with new variants. The refreshed range now comprises a total of 24 trims, with prices starting at Rs. 11.13 lakhs and extending up to Rs. 20.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Among the updates, Kia has rolled out three new trim options: HTE (O), HTK (O) and HTK+ (O). Each variant brings additional features, enhancing the value proposition across the lineup.
The HTE (O) variant is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth support, a six-speaker audio setup, steering-mounted controls, LED daytime running lights and connected LED taillights.
Moving up, the HTK (O) trim offers a more premium experience with a panoramic sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and a rear wiper, washer and defogger. It also includes cruise control, a mood lighting feature and a Smart Key with motion-sensing technology.
The top-end among the new additions, the HTK+ (O), further enhances the offering with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps complemented by sequential LED turn signals, LED fog lamps, auto-folding ORVMs, mood lighting and the Smart Key with motion sensing.
Under the hood, the 2025 Seltos retains its existing powertrain lineup. Customers can choose from three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel.
The 1.5-litre petrol engine continues to be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT. The turbo-petrol variant is available with a 6-speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT) or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT). For diesel enthusiasts, Kia offers the 1.5-litre unit with a choice between a 6-speed iMT and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
With the introduction of these new variants, Kia aims to cater to a broader audience by offering a mix of value-driven and premium features across price points. The 2025 Seltos will continue to compete with segment rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara and Volkswagen Taigun.
Bookings for the updated Kia Seltos are now open across dealerships, with deliveries expected to commence soon.
