2025 Kia EV6 Facelift Launched In India, Priced At Rs. 65.9 Lakhs

Kia EV6 facelift launched at Rs. 65.9 lakhs with a new 84 kWh battery, 663 km range

Kia India has officially launched the updated EV6 electric SUV at a starting price of Rs. 65.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). The facelifted model, showcased earlier at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, arrives in a single GT Line variant and brings a host of design and feature enhancements along with improved range.

Refreshed Design and Exterior Features

The 2025 EV6 features a more assertive design, aligning with Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. Notable exterior updates include the new Star Map LED lighting with connected daytime running lamps, flush-fitting door handles and LED-integrated ORVMs. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels, maintaining its sporty stance.

Updated Interior and Technology

Inside, the EV6 continues to focus on a tech-forward cabin experience. The dashboard houses a pair of 12.3-inch displays, now paired with the latest Kia Connect 2.0 system. A flat-bottom steering wheel and a redesigned centre console enhance the premium feel. Safety has also seen an upgrade with a more comprehensive ADAS package featuring 27 advanced safety technologies.

Performance and Battery Upgrade

A significant update for the 2025 model is the introduction of a new 84 kWh NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery pack. This lighter and more energy-dense unit delivers an ARAI-certified range of 663 km on a full charge. The EV6 supports ultra-fast charging up to 350 kW, allowing it to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.

Power comes from dual electric motors that collectively produce 321 BHP and 605 Nm of torque, ensuring brisk performance.

Colour Options

The updated EV6 is offered in five exterior paint options: Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red and Yacht Blue Matte.

Market Positioning

With this launch, Kia aims to strengthen its presence in India’s premium EV segment. The EV6 continues to be brought in as a CBU, targeting buyers seeking a high-range, feature-loaded electric crossover.
