2025 Ducati Panigale V4 expected to launch in India by the end of this year
2025 Ducati Panigale V4 revealed at the 2024 World Ducati Week. The new model showcases significant design and engineering updates, aiming to offer a more refined and aggressive riding experience.
The new Panigale V4 boasts a sharper and sleeker appearance. Notable changes include the replacement of the LED projector headlights with sleeker LED units reminiscent of those found on the Ducati Multistrada V4, giving the bike a more aggressive look. The windscreen has been enlarged, contributing to improved aerodynamics and rider comfort.
Aerodynamic enhancements continue with the redesigned winglets positioned below the headlights. These body-coloured winglets differ from the previous model’s design, offering a more integrated look. The side fairing has been reworked with new vents and aerodynamic shapes to improve both aesthetics and functionality. The fuel tank, footrest and tail section have also been redesigned, featuring a new LED tail light.
Addressing the Panigale V4’s traditionally demanding riding position, Ducati has introduced several ergonomic improvements. The new 17-litre fuel tank is shaped to provide better support during braking and aggressive riding. Additionally, a new seat design is 35 mm longer and 50 mm wider. The footpegs have been repositioned 10 mm further, enhancing overall comfort.
Underneath the revamped bodywork, the Panigale V4 features a revised chassis. The front frame has been modified to reduce lateral stiffness by 40 percent while maintaining longitudinal stiffness, resulting in a lighter frame that offers increased flexibility for better handling and faster cornering speeds. A new hollow symmetrical swingarm replaces the previous single-sided swingarm, reducing lateral stiffness by 37 percent and enhancing mechanical grip and stability.
The Panigale V4 S model benefits from the third generation of Ohlins electronic suspension, featuring an NPX-30 pressurised fork at the front and a TTX36 monoshock at the rear. The braking system has also been upgraded with Brembo Hypure callipers, which are lighter and more efficient at heat dissipation. The bike is equipped with new 17-inch alloy wheels that reduce weight by 2.17 kg, improving inertia and overall performance. These wheels are fitted with Pirelli Diablo Supercorse SP-V4 tyres.
Powering the new Panigale V4 is a 1103cc V4 engine that meets Euro5+ emissions standards. The engine produces 214 BHP at 13,500 RPM and 120.9 Nm of torque at 11,250 RPM, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and a quickshifter as standard.
The Panigale V4 gets four power modes – Full, High, Medium and Low. It also gets ride modes, traction control, wheelie control and slide control. These settings can be accessed via a new 6.9-inch high-resolution colour TFT display.
The new Panigale V4 is set to launch in India later this year, available in both standard and S trims. The expected price range is between Rs. 28 lakhs to Rs. 30 lakhs (ex-showroom).
