2025 BMW X3 follows the new monolithic design language, completely redesigned
2025 BMW X3 is the fourth generation model that comes with significant updates. The new X3 gets a completely redesigned exterior, all-new interior along with more features and updated engine options.
The front profile gets an aggressive look thanks to the new kidney grille design with sleek design elements inside. It also gets a sharp pair of LED headlights with sleek LED DRLs pattern. The hood gets some power bulges while the bumper gets some sporty treatment.
The new generation BMW X3 is 34 mm longer at 4755 mm and 29 mm wider at 1920 mm than its predecessor. It is also 25 mm lower in height to make it look more sporty with a wider track stance.
On the side profile you will notice a clean design with no curves and sharp creases. The flattish panels makes it look monolithic. There are flap-type door handles that don’t protrude from the doors. The alloy wheels look quite fancy with the dual tone treatment. Alloy wheel design and size will vary on variant to variant and of course there will be optional choice as well. The rear profile gets swanky LED wraparound tail lights and a rather flat tailgate design.
Step inside and you would have never seen a dashboard like this in a BMW. It gets a completely new dashboard design with a floating BMW Curved Display that includes a 12.3-inch information display and a 14.9-inch control display. There is a new BMW Interaction Bar with wraparound effect for the light elements that change colour with different functions. We have also seen this on the new BMW 7-Series and 5-Series models.
BMW will be offering a range of petrol and diesel engine with the new X3 in the international market. The engines have been updated with 48V mild hybrid technology for better efficiency and performance. The new BMW X3 also comes with a plug-in hybrid variant and a range-topping sporty X3 M50 variant with 6-cylinder in-line turbo petrol engine.
The new BMW X3 is likely to launch in India by early 2025. It will compete with the likes of Mercedes GLC and Audi Q5. How do you like the new design? Let us know in the comments section below.
