2024 Tata Harrier interior teased revealing new features
2024 Tata Harrier facelift’s latest teaser reveals interior details. Bookings for the Harrier and Safari will commence on 6th October while the updated SUVs are expected to go on sale later this month during the festive season.
The Indian carmaker revealed the front fascia of the Harrier facelift yesterday which reveals a new face with revised headlight cluster, new LED bar on the nose, new grille and bumper design. The latest teaser reveals some of the new details of the interior.
The updated SUV will get a new ambient lighting, whether there will be multiple colour choices or not, it is yet to be seen. Next up is the new steering wheel, this will be slightly more premium than the one seen on the Nexon, it will be a 4-spoke unit with the same illuminated Tata logo in the centre.
The digital cluster of the Harrier facelift will come with a new layout having two digital dials on each side, left one displaying the tachometer with gear mode in the centre and the right one displaying the speedometer with digital numbers in the centre. There is engine temperature level indicator on the lower left side and fuel level indicator on the lower right side of the cluster.
It will display a ton of information regarding the car like distance to empty, fuel efficiency, drive modes, etc. Since it is a dynamic digital cluster we can expect to see more features like maps, directions and other such menus on the display.
The touchscreen infotainment system looks larger than the current 10.25-inch unit. We hope it comes with new features and offers niggle free user experience. There will be a new touch sensitive control panel in the centre console and a new gear select lever with a premium look.
Tata Motors will continue to offer the same 2.0-litre diesel engine which produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The Indian carmaker is also expected to launch 1.5-litre turbo petrol version at a later stage and also a full-electric version of the Harrier and Safari.
