2024 Skoda Superb design sketches revealed, world premiere on 2nd November
2024 Skoda Superb design revealed via official sketches ahead of its debut on 2nd November. Few days back Skoda revealed the second generation Kodiaq and both these new cars carry the latest design DNA of the carmaker.
The new Skoda Superb looks sharp and fresh in these design sketches. The front profile gets the new grille which looks larger and gets chrome outlining. There is a new set of LED Matrix beam headlight cluster with revised detailing including the LED DRLs. There are some cuts and creases on the new bumper that makes it look sharper.
On the side profile you will notice a rather simple line running across the shoulder. While these alloys look exaggerated in the design sketch, you can expect some fancy looking diamond cut wheels in the production version. The rear profile gets sleeker LED lights, redesigned tailgate and bumper that might remind you of some Audi sedans.
The new model has grown in length and height and has become more aerodynamic. Compared to the outgoing Superb, it is 43 mm longer at 4912 mm and 12 mm taller at 1481 mm. The interior will be offering more headroom thanks to the revised dimensions. The luggage capacity of the new Superb has increased by 20 litres to 645 litres.
The new sedan will now get mild-hybrid tech for the engines for the first time. It will be offered with three petrol engines and two diesel engine options in the international market. We will get only petrol engine options in our country.
Skoda revealed the interior design a couple of months back. It comes with a 13-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system on the dashboard and 10-inch all-digital instrument cluster.
Skoda will be offering the new Superb in both sedan and station wagon body styles in the international market. In the Indian market of course we will get only the sedan version and we expect the new Superb to launch by mid-2024.
