2024 Porsche Panamera is the third generation model, India price announced
2024 Porsche Panamera revealed, priced from Rs. 1.68 crores (ex-showroom) in India. The third generation model gets redesigned exterior and interior along with updated powertrain options.
The front profile of the new Panamera gets revised hood design, new headlights and new bumpers with better airflow. The styling has been tweaked to make it look fresh and offer better aerodynamics at the same time. The side profile looks cleaner with less aggressive creases and lines. Rear profile follows the new design language with simple strips of straight lights.
The interior gets a revamped centre console that looks inspired by Taycan. The gear selector is now conveniently placed to the right of the steering wheel, seamlessly integrated into the dash. An optional 10.9-inch passenger display is available, granting the co-pilot control over performance data, infotainment settings and even the ability to stream a video.
The Panamera sets itself apart with a standard two-chamber, two-valve air suspension featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management. It separates damper’s compression and rebound control. The Porsche Active Ride is exclusive to E-Hybrid models. It keeps the Panamera’s body flat and can even counteract pitch and roll movements, allowing the sedan to navigate corners with the agility of a motorcycle. Optional rear-axle steering further enhances the driving experience.
Porsche offers four distinct E-Hybrid powertrains for the Panamera, each designed to cater to diverse preferences. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid boasts a redesigned twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine coupled with an electric motor powered by a 25.9-kilowatt-hour battery. With a combined output of 670 HP and 930 Nm of torque, this powerhouse accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hr in 3.2 seconds and achieves a top speed of 314 km/hr.
The Panamera and Panamera 4 are equipped with a turbocharged 2.9-litre V6 engine. Delivering 348 HP and 500 Nm of torque, this V6 propels the regular Panamera from 0 to 100 km/hr in 5.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 272 km/hr. The Panamera 4, equipped with all-wheel drive, achieves the same feat in 5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 270 km/hr.
