2024 MINI Cooper & Countryman to come in ICE versions as well
2024 new generation MINI Cooper and Countryman revealed in all-electric avatar. Both the cars follow a completely new design language with futuristic interiors and retro exterior. The BMW Group will introduce the ICE versions as well very soon.
The MINI Cooper carries the MINI DNA forward with a very familiar front profile. However, the design is completely new having redesigned LED headlights with LED DRL rings, new front grille design and revised bumper and hood.
The side profile looks very similar with a floating roof design and a sporty stance. The rear gets the most drastic change as the tail lights are sharper and get a triangular design instead of the roundish theme of the outgoing model.
The new Countryman on the other hand gets a squarish headlight design, rugged bumper, new side profile with different alloy design and completely new rear with a vertically stacked tail light cluster.
The interior of both the cars get a futuristic look, having new materials, completely revised dashboard and a 9.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The MINI Cooper E is powered by a 184 HP and 290 Nm torque electric motor. It has a 40.7 kWh battery offering a claimed range of 305 km on full charge. The Cooper SE is powered by a 218 HP and 330 Nm torque electric motor. It has a 54.2 kWh battery that offers a claimed range of 402 km.
The Countryman E comes with a 204 HP and 250 Nm single motor with a 66.45 kWh battery capacity that offers 462 km range. The Countryman SE comes with a 313 HP and 494 Nm torque dual electric motor. It comes with the same 66.45 kWh battery pack that offers 433 km of driving range.
We expect BMW Group to introduce both the new generation MINI products in India by next year.
