2024 MG Gloster Facelift Spied Heavily Camouflaged

2024 MG Gloster facelift to get substantial exterior and interior changes

2024 MG Gloster facelift spotted testing again, hiding the updated exterior which is likely to get prominent changes. The updated model is likely to hit the showrooms by mid-2024.

Drawing inspiration from the Maxus D90, the 2024 MG Gloster is anticipated to embrace a design philosophy akin to its counterpart. The spy shots reveal a substantial redesign in the front fascia that includes a sizeable grille and vertically stacked headlamps, accompanied by a continuous LED light bar.

Some of the other design elements include a distinct shoulder line, flared wheel arches, a slightly raked rear windshield, wraparound taillights and dual exhausts.

The interior too is likely to get new features like updated screens, visual tweaks on the dashboard, new upholstery, new colour scheme and as expected from MG, a lot of new features on offer.

Under the hood, it’s speculated that the updated Gloster will retain the same engine options as the outgoing model. These comprise a 2.0-litre diesel engine delivering 161 BHP and 375 Nm of torque along with a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel variant generating 215 BHP and 480 Nm of torque. Both engines are likely to be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The updated MG Gloster will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian in the Indian market.
