2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift to get substantial visual updates
Mahindra has been testing the new XUV300 since a long while. This will be the second facelift for the compact SUV and the most significant one to compete head-on with the updated Tata Nexon.
The new Mahindra XUV300 is in its final stages of testing and a near production prototype has been spotted under camouflage. If you notice, the XUV300 will get some drastic visual tweaks including a new front profile with redesigned grille, new headlights, new DRLs and bumper. The rear profile will get new lights, connected LED strip and a new bumper. The side profile will remain more or less the same except for the new alloy wheel desing.
2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift will also get substantial changes inside. The dashboard will be tweaked to offer a fresh new look. It will get a larger floating infotainment touchscreen display and a digital instrument cluster according to the new trend. Mahindra will be offering segment-first panoramic sunroof with the new XUV300 on the range topping variants.
A few days back it was reported that the XUV300 facelift will get an Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic torque converter unit that will replace the 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
There are no changes in the engine department. The compact SUV will continue to be offered with 110 HP 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, 131 HP 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol and a 117 HP 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Mahindra has not revealed the launch timeline officially yet but we believe it will hit the showrooms in early 2024. It will compete with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and the likes.
