2024 Mahindra Thar 5-Door to get multiple changes inside
2024 Mahindra Thar 5-Door has been spotted testing multiple times. The long wheelbase version is scheduled to launch sometime next year. The latest spy shot of the interior reveals more details and the changes of the SUV.
We recently revealed that the new 5-Door Thar will get Mahindra XUV700 borrowed steering wheel. This clear spy shot of the off-roader reveals more changes which includes new steering wheel, grab handle on the A-pillar, height adjustable seatbelt, new front arm rest, cupholders behind the gear lever, larger touchscreen panel with new buttons and USB-C charging port.
The bigger Thar will be positioned as a more premium offering, hence the added features which might also trickle down to the 3-Door Thar eventually. To differentiate the two, Mahindra might offer different dashboard and upholstery colour options.
We all know it will come with a proper second row of seats that will accommodate 3 adults. There will be a larger boot space on offer to make it a more practical SUV.
In terms of exterior design, you can expect new grille styling and new LED headlights with the 5-Door Thar. Rear is likely to remain the same but with mild tweaks on the bumper. Mahindra will be offering new alloy wheels as well.
There will be no changes in the engine department. It will continue to be offered with the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options. Mahindra will be offering both 4×4 and 4×2 options.
