2024 KTM 390 Adventure Spotted Testing Undisguised

The new generation 2024 KTM 390 Adventure gets a new design language

KTM enthusiasts worldwide have something to look forward to as the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer gears up for the global unveiling of its highly anticipated 2024 KTM 390 Adventure. Recent spy shots captured during international testing have given us a sneak peek into the next iteration.

The spy images reveal a more off-road-oriented aesthetic for the 2024 KTM 390 Adventure. Boasting wired-spoke wheels, a front beak and a dual LED headlamp setup featuring inverted horseshoe-shaped LED DRLs. With minimal body panels, a sizeable windscreen and sturdy knuckle guards, KTM aims to strike the balance between form and function. The prototype also features a redesigned rear sub-frame and a single-piece seat, complemented by split grab handles and distinctive twin-pod LED tail lights.

KTM equips the new generation 390 Adventure with USD telescopic forks at the front, sourced from WP, offering extended suspension travel and both rebound and compression adjustability. The rear suspension, a mono-shock setup, also provides the flexibility of adjusting rebound and pre-load settings.

The upcoming 390 Adventure borrows its instrument cluster from the new generation KTM 390 Duke with a modern and user-friendly interface. It will be powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 45 BHP and 40 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

When the 2024 KTM 390 Adventure hits the Indian market, it will compete with the BMW G 310 GS and the recently launched Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. What are your thoughts on the new design language by KTM? Let us know in the comments section.
