2024 Kia Carnival interior revealed, minor tweaks compared to the outgoing model
2024 Kia Carnival exterior got revealed a few days back and now the carmaker has revealed the interior design of the facelifted model.
At the first glance it looks the same as the pre-facelift model. However, it comes with some minor changes like new dual tone colour scheme, new dual-screen digital cluster and infotainment setup and new centre console with touch-based buttons and new rotary knob for gear selector.
The steering wheel and the dashboard design is unchanged. The dual screen setup now looks sleeker and the touch panel helps reduce the clutter of buttons on the centre console. Kia hasn’t revealed more details on the features of the car. They are gradually releasing new pictures ahead of its full debut.
Changes on the inside are visually less compared to the exterior changes. The new Kia Carnival gets a completely new front profile with new headlights, redesigned grille, new bumpers and new tailgate with sharper tail lights. Kia is also offering a new set of alloy wheels.
It will be available in multiple petrol and diesel engine options in the international market. Kia will also introduce a new hybrid engine with the new Carnival. It will be a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine paired to an electric motor producing a combined output of 227 HP and 350 Nm of torque. We will be getting the new generation Carnival in India in its facelifted avatar by next year.
Kia will assemble the new Carnival in India locally with the CKD (completely knocked down) kits. It currently has no competition in India and will be positioned between the Toyota Innova HyCross and Toyota Vellfire segments. What are your thoughts about the interior of the new Carnival?
