2024 Jeep Compass is now available with 2WD diesel automatic
2024 Jeep Compass launched with 2WD diesel automatic price starting from Rs. 23.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Since the Compass went on sale in India in 2017, there have been only two options for automatic variants – 4×2 petrol and 4×4 diesel.
The 4×2 diesel automatic configuration has been introduced for the first time since its launch and this configuration has been exclusively developed for India. The petrol variants were discontinued recently.
The MY 2024 range of Jeep Compass now comes with new alloy wheel designs and new grille. Along with this, Jeep India has also introduced a new BlackShark edition with the Compass.
This edition comes with gloss black elements on the grille, lower fascia, flares and cladding. It also comes with 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels. The interior in this edition is all-black and it comes with red accents to boost the sporty appeal.
The updated Jeep Compass continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine which produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. It does 0-100 km/hr in a claimed 9.8 seconds.
The Jeep Compass is now available in five variants – Sport, Longitude/Longitude Plus, Limited, BlackShark and Model S. It is being offered in 7 colour options – Pearl White, Diamond Black, Techno Metallic Green, Exotica Red, Grigio Magnesio Grey, Minimal Grey and Galaxy Blue.
With the latest addition, there are three powertrain configurations on offer – Diesel 4×4 automatic, Diesel 4×2 automatic and Diesel 4×2 manual. The MY24 Jeep Compass range comes with a starting price of Rs. 20.49 lakhs (ex-showroom).
