The facelifted Creta gets significant changes on the exterior following the new design language. It comes with H-shaped horizon LED positioning lamp and DRLs along quad beam LED headlamps, new grille design, updated bumpers, upright bonnet, new alloys and new LED tail lights. The overall design makes it look sharper than the outgoing model.
It measures 4330 mm in length, 1790 mm in width and 1635 mm in height. The car has a wheelbase of 2610 mm.
The interior gets a new dashboard with dual 10.25-inch screens for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital cluster. The AC vents and the centre console also gets revised for fresh look. It comes with Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) and cooled Glove Box.
Other features include Voice enabled smart Panoramic Sunroof, Front row ventilated seats, 8-Way Power adjustment for the driver Seat, 2 Step Rear Reclining Seat, Rear window Sunshade, Rear seat Headrest Cushion, USB Charger (c-type), LED reading lamps and rear center armrest.
The 10.25-inch digital cluster features dynamic themes switchable with every drive mode. It also acts as a display for Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), including dedicated read-outs for Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Front Collision Avoidance. It is equipped with Blind View Monitor just like the Alcazar. You get 1 year of Jio Saavn subscription free with the new Creta. Hyundai is offering Bose Premium Sound 8 Speaker System.
The new Creta will be available with three engine options – 1.5-litre MPI naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine option.
The 1.5-litre MPI produces 115 PS at 6300 RPM and 144 Nm of torque at 4500 RPM. It is available with 6-speed MT that returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.4 km/l and CVT automatic that returns a claimed mileage of 17.7 km/l.
The 1.5-litre turbo produces 160 PS at 5500 RPM and 253 Nm of torque at 1500-3500 RPM. It is available with a 7-speed DCT automatic that returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.4 km/l.
The 1.5-litre diesel produces 116 PS at 4000 RPM and 250 Nm of torque at 1500-2750 RPM. It is available with 6-speed MT that returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 21.8 km/l and 6-speed automatic that returns a claimed mileage of 19.1 km/l.
