New Hyundai Creta will be available in 7 variants and 7 colour options
2024 Hyundai Creta bookings open with a token amount of Rs. 25,000/-. It can be booked at any Hyundai dealership across India or on their official website.
The much awaited facelifted model comes with significant changes on the exterior and interior. It follows the carmaker’s new ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design direction. It features a new horizon LED positioning lamp & DRLs and quad beam LED headlamps. The larger grille features a new design inspired by the latest Hyundai SUVs. The hood is upright to give it a better stance.
The rear profile also gets a completely new look with connected H-shaped LED lights and new bumper design. The side profile hasn’t been revealed in these teasers but it will get new diamond cut alloy wheels. Hyundai is offering the new Creta in 6 monotone colours – Robust Emerald Pearl (New), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey and one dual tone colour – Atlas White with black roof.
The interior gets a completely new dashboard design which look futuristic. It has a dual screen setup that integrates the touchscreen infotainment system with the digital cluster. Notice the ambient lighting and the new aircon design. The centre console gets a small display with touch sensitive buttons. Hyundai hasn’t officially announced the features yet but we believe it will get new ADAS tech, electronic parking brake, 360 degree camera, front seat ventilation, wireless charger, etc.
The new Hyundai Creta will be available in 7 variants – E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, SX(O). It will get the new 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol engine and continue with the same 1.5-litre MPi Petrol and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi Diesel engine options. Transmission options will include 6-speed manual, IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Hyundai has scheduled the launch and price announcement for 16th January. It will compete with the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor.
