2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S launched in India
2024 Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 24,62,400/- for the standard trim and Rs. 27,80,000/- for the V4 S. The standard V4 is only available with the Ducati Red colour option. The V4 S is available in both Ducati Red and Grey Nero colour options.
The Streetfighter V4 boasts a muscular design, featuring a full-LED front light and a V-shaped daytime running light reminiscent of the Panigale V4’s front view. Its fuel tank shares similar contours with the 2022 Panigale V4, designed to enhance rider support during braking and cornering. It comes with an increased capacity of 16.5 litres.
The Streetfighter V4 gets a new Wet Riding Mode to make riding even safer on low-grip surfaces. The standard equipment is enriched by a lithium-ion battery for the S version (1.7 kg lighter than the previous one). The dashboard gets revised graphics to make the information simpler and more descriptive.
It also gets the new Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO 2 software which guarantees better stability, precision and directionality in the braking and corner entry phases. It also implements a new strategy for the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) which improves the fluidity of shifting at every degree of opening of the throttle, both when the latter is partialised and when it is completely open, dealing with both situations in a different way.
There is an update of the cooling fan control strategy, which offers better management of operating temperatures and greater thermal comfort for the rider at typical road use speeds.
The chassis also follows the evolution of the Panigale V4 family to offer enthusiasts improvements in stability, front-end feel and riding safety. The chassis includes Front Frame and single-sided swingarm, both in aluminium, with upside-down fork and mechanically adjustable shock absorber on the V4 standard version.
The Streetfighter V4 S features semi-active Öhlins suspension (NIX30 upside-down 43 mm fork and TTX36 shock absorber) with SmartEC 2.0 interface. In addition, on the V4 S version, the rims are Marchesini forged in aluminium alloy.
The 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine produces 208 HP at 13,000 RPM and 123 Nm of torque.
Electronic package includes 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (6D IMU): ABS Cornering EVO; Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2; Ducati Slide Control (DSC); Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO; Ducati Power Launch (DPL); Ducati Quick Shift up / down (DQS) EVO 2 and Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO.
