2024 Audi Q8 and SQ8 facelift get styling changes and new features
2024 Audi Q8 and SQ8 revealed. The facelifted models now comes with fresh colour options, updated styling details and new features on offer.
The front profile comes with all-new HD Matrix LED technology headlights, new Audi Singleframe grille design with redesigned inlays and revised grille. The side profile remains more or less the same but it will come with new alloy wheel designs ranging from 21-inch to 23-inch.
The rear profile also gets new OLED tail lights that are redesigned to lend it a fresh look. These tail lights are dynamic in nature and offer different functions including sequential indicators, proximity indication, leaving home and coming home sequences.
Audi is offering three new colour options with the Q8 facelift including Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue and Chili Red. The SQ8 gets brushed aluminium accents on the exterior with shiny alloy wheel design and slightly different bumper designs.
The interior remains more or less the same but you get multiple options for the upholstery, material and colour choices. There are also nine decorative inlays available to choose from.
The regular Audi Q8 is powered by three engine options 3.0-litre petrol and 3.0-litre diesel in two different tunes. The 6-cylinder 3.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces 335 HP and 500 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 km/hr in 5.6 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/hr.
The 6-cylinder 3.0-litre 45 TDI diesel engine produces 228 HP and 500 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 km/hr in 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 226 km/hr. The 50 TDI variant produces 282 HP and 600 Nm torque. Does 0-100 km/hr in 6.1 seconds and has a top speed of 241 km/hr.
The performance oriented Audi SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 TFSI engine producing 500 HP and 770 Nm of torque. It does 0-100 km/hr in 4.1 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250 km/hr.
We can expect Audi to introduce the Q8 facelift in India by the end of this year or early next year. We’re not sure if the SQ8 will make it to India.
