Volvo has not tried to disguise the 2023 XC40 facelift that was recently spied
The 2023 Volvo XC40 facelift has been spied undisguised overseas and the luxury compact SUV has received mild visual tweaks.
Now, the front end of the XC40 resembles the C40 Recharge coupe SUV’s face barring the radiator grille that has also been restyled. The LED headlights have been reshaped and the front bumper is new.
Along the sides, the 2023 XC40 looks the same as ever, but it does have a new set of wheels. At the back, the tail lamps have got mildly different signature elements.
The interior of the recently spied 2022 Volvo XC40 facelift seem to bear no major changes. But, the car should come with updated upholstery and more or less the same features as it does in current form.
Being a modern Volvo, the luxury compact SUV will have all the latest safety systems, including ones that assist the driver big time, on board.
Interestingly, the brand’s official site for certain regions, mainly Europe, already display the pictures of the facelifted model despite the fact that it has not officially gone on sale yet.
When the refreshed model of the XC40 gets introduced in India later this year, it should continue to be offered with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 190 HP and 300 Nm of torque. The motor will be teamed to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
