2023 Royal Enfield Bullet launched, based on the J-platform
2023 Royal Enfield Bullet launched, priced from Rs. 1.73 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). The new generation Bullet is the last one in the Royal Enfield’s 350 lineup to move to the J-platform.
The new motorcycle is available in 5 colour options – Military Black, Military Red, Standard Maroon, Standard Black and Black Gold. The Military Black and Red colour variants are available for Rs. 1.73 lakhs. The Standard Maroon and Black variants are available for Rs. 1.97 lakhs and the Black Gold variant is priced at Rs. 2.15 lakhs.
The Bullet Military Red and Military Black are equipped with single channel ABS, rear drum brake and finished with single solid-coloured tanks. The Bullet Standard in Black or Maroon are fitted with dual channel ABS and rear discs, and are finished with hand-pinstriped body-coloured tanks and components as well as chrome and gold badges.
The Bullet Black Gold is finished with a combination of matt and gloss black tank, copper and gold 3D badge, copper pinstriping and blacked-out engine and components, it comes with dual channel ABS and rear disc brakes.
The Indian motorcycle maker has retained the classic design of the Bullet but with slight tweaks. It comes with a new handlebar for a more upright posture, single piece seat for added comfort, revised rear fender with new tail lamp housing and slight changes on the side profile.
It is powered by the same 349cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that powers the Meteor, Hunter and Classic range of bikes. The engine produces 20.2 BHP at 6100 RPM and 27 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
It comes with 41 mm front forks and wider section tyres, a 100/90 -19 at the front and 120/80 -18 at the rear. For braking duties it gets 300 mm disc brake fitted at the front and with 270 mm disc or drum brake options at the rear.
