2023 Renault cars get updated with RDE compliant engine options
2023 range of Renault cars have been updated to meet the upcoming RDE (Real Driving Emission) norms. It will require a vehicle to have an on-board self-diagnostic device. The device will constantly monitor the vehicle’s emission levels while driving, along with other critical emission devices such as the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors.
All cars including Kiger, Triber and Kwid have been updated with the BS6 Phase 2 norms. All these cars are now equipped with Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) as standard across all variants.
The French carmaker has introduced a new RXE variant for the Kwid that is powered by a 1.0-lite petrol engine paired to a manual gearbox and comes with a price tag of Rs. 4.69 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Kwid range also gets Turn Indicators on ORVM and Steering Mounted Audio & Phone Controls to boos the convenience.
The Triber now comes with chrome finish exterior door handles and new seat upholstery with this 2023 model year update.
Bookings for the updated range of Renault cars have started across the country.
