2023 Maruti Suzuki Brezza interiors have been leaked ahead of launch, most of the elements inside are from new gen Baleno
Ahead of its launch coming 30th, the interiors of what could be the top-end variant of the 2023 Maruti Suzuki Brezza have got leaked revealing some crucial information about the looks and features on offer.
Before we start with the interiors, we have also got a glimpse of the rear 3 quarters of the compact SUV and the same have been pictured above. From this angle, the car looks like that of an MPV rather than an SUV as the huge matte black body cladding robs away the looks of the, probably, 16-inch tires.
The tires look like they are tucked inside the body like an MPV. We hope the compact SUV looks better in person. For the first time in its life, the Brezza, previously Vitara Brezza, has got a sunroof inline with the competition. Though it’s a basic unit, it should suffice most buyers.
The overall layout of the cabin feels like that of the regular Maruti Suzukis with the usual flat bottom steering wheel and twin-pod instrument cluster. The biggest change, however, is the addition of the infotainment system on the new head-up display (HUD) as per the current trend.
Again, for the first time, the Brezza has got rear AC vents with blower control and a 12 volt power socket. But, the USB and Type C charging ports are sorely missed. With the addition of rear AC vents, the Brezza also gets dual-zone climate control this time.
The AC controls seem to be a direct lift from the Baleno while there’s 1 more 12 volt charging socket and a USB port below. The infotainment system will get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car will also sport a 360 degree camera, 6 airbags, and TPMS.
As the upcoming Brezza is based on the same Global C platform as the existing model, the car is expected to achieve a 5-star safety rating this time as the existing model itself got 4 stars with dual airbags.
From the pictures surfaced so far, we can confirm 3 metallic colours – white, red, and green. The green shade is first for the SUV which currently has 9 different colour options including dual-tone ones.
The company might install the updated 1.5-litre K15 engine borrowed from the new Ertiga and XL6. In its current form, the mild-hybrid mill puts out 102 HP and 137 Nm. There would be an option to choose either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The upcoming Brezza would command a premium over the existing Vitara Brezza. It will compete against the likes of the Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Kia Sonet.
Select dealerships have also commenced offline bookings for the upcoming SUV. Brezza is expected to command a crazy waiting period spanning months post launch as it’s the first generation change for the SUV and 1 of the biggest launches from Maruti Suzuki this year.
