2023 Hyundai Venue launch will take place on 16th June, official pictures look similar to the revealed images earlier

Hyundai has officially revealed the 2023 Venue and the launch is said to take place on 16th June, that’s 14 days before the launch of the second generation Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Select dealerships have already opened unofficial bookings for the upcoming SUV.

The Venue facelift comes with Hyundai’s new tag line, ‘Live the Lit life’. The Korean maker said the car has been crafted to supersede the aspirations of new age Indian customers, who seek future tech, spacious interiors, comfort, style, and safety.

The rear gets a Volkswagen inspired bold design

Designed to evoke a bold and premium appeal, the new Venue, Hyundai says, is inspired from its ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design language. While the development concept was centered around creating maximum space, emphasis was also given for a bold exterior.

The SUV features a dark chrome front grille while the rear gets the unique first-in-segment connecting LED tail lamps with unique vertical design elements. The ‘hexagonal cut crystal design’ as per Hyundai’s terms has been adopted to give a distinctively tall and wide look.

There could be subtle changes on the inside. The seats and upholstery might be redesigned with new colours. There could be a bigger touch-screen infotainment system probably borrowing the 10.25-inch screen from the Sonet.

The grille is larger and boxy

Bose sound system, front parking sensors, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and 360 degree camera might make their way. The existing Venue already gets features such as electric sunroof, air purifier, connected tech, TPMS, and 6 airbags among many others.

The new Venue might sport the same powertrains as the existing car but there could also be the introduction of Kia Sonet’s 115 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine that gets a 6-speed torque converter autobox. The ex-showroom prices could start from Rs. 7 lakhs onwards.

The connected tail lights are segment-first

With the unveil, Hyundai has also started its unique MZ Lab that will help young millennials and Gen Z professionals in the Hyundai ecosystem to ideate and innovate ways of inducing customer delight. We can expect action from this development soon.
