2023 Hyundai Tucson waiting periods to be announced on 10th August, 3000 bookings garnered in 15 days

Hyundai India has said that it has received a phenomenal response for the upcoming fourth generation 2023 Tucson and that it will announce waiting periods on 10th August. The company is anticipating demand far more than supply.

It must be noted that the original launch date of the Tucson was 4th August. Later, due to internal reasons, the launch and price announcement has been postponed to 10th August, the same date on which the waiting periods will be announced.

In a note to dealers, the company has said that transparent and accurate communication to customers on expected delivery time is of critical importance given the customer profile for the entry-level premium SUV.

The supply of test drive cars has commenced starting July in a phased manner and all the Signature outlets would get an unit by this month end. The company claimed that it has received a total of 3000 bookings in a matter of 15 days.

Hyundai has adopted its ‘Sensual Sportiness’ design language for the 2023 Tucson and it gets good-looking cuts and creases throughout the body. The large jewel-like grille is the highlight of the front while the sharp dual-tone alloy pattern accentuates the design at the sides.

The SUV’s wheelbase is 2755 mm which is among the longest in the segment. But, it’s a 5-seater only. Rear passengers get huge space than what’s seen on the third generation model.

On the inside, the Tucson misses out on the free-standing infotainment system of the previous generation. But, it makes up for the same with intelligent technologies and a long list of safety and innovative features.
