2023 Hyundai Grand i10 launched, gets new face and more features
2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios launched, priced from Rs. 5.68 lakhs (ex-showroom & introductory).
In terms of styling, there are significant changes which makes it look fresh. The front profile gets a new bumper with a larger grille and redesigned LED DRLs.
The side profile looks similar but comes with new 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. There is a new LED tail light cluster with a strip on the tailgate connecting the two lights. Overall it looks new but there is a hint of the Santro in the design.
There are 6 colours on offer including a new Spark Green colour.
The interior looks the same having the same dashboard layout. However, there is a new instrument cluster design. Previously it was semi digital but now it gets an analogue cluster with a multi-information display in the middle.
Additional features include Cruise Control, LED Tail lamps, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ESC, Hill Start Assist Control, Child Seat Anchor (ISOFIX), Fast USB Charger [Type C], footwell lighting, etc. It also comes with 4 airbags as standard and 6 airbags as an option.
Hyundai has discontinued the diesel engine option along with the turbo petrol engine option. The Grand i10 Nios now comes with only two engine options – 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre petrol with CNG.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 83 PS and 113.8 Nm torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. The 1.2-litre petrol engine in CNG mode produces 69 PS and 95.2 Nm of torque. CNG powertrain only comes with a 5-speed manual transmission option.
