2023 Honda WR-V revealed, being considered for India launch
2023 Honda WR-V revealed for the Indonesian market. The crossover looks fresh with the new design details and has no resemblance to the outgoing model.
The front profile gets LED headlights, new grille design and a completely redesigned bumper. The new alloys look sporty and the side profile now has a more upright design, making it look more compact SUVish instead of a crossover based on a hatchback. The rear design gets a sleek set of tail lights.
Interior of the new WR-V looks similar to the Amaze, gets a familiar dashboard and steering wheel along with the typical Honda elements. The touchscreen looks quite aftermarket.
However, it is loaded with features like Walk-Away Auto Lock, Remote Engine Start, Honda LaneWatch technology, auto headlight, auto wiper, etc.
Honda offers the WR-V in India with a sunroof, which is shockingly missing in the new gen.
What’s interesting though, is the addition of ADAS features with Honda SENSING technology. It includes Collision Mitigation Brake System, Auto-High Beam, Lane Keeping Assist System, Lead Car Departure Notification System, Road Departure Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The new WR-V is powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine producing 121 PS at 6600 RPM and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4300 RPM. This engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission.
