2023 Honda Unicorn now complies with the new norms
2023 Honda Unicorn launched with a price tag of Rs. 1,09,800/- (ex-showroom). It has got more expensive by Rs. 4100/- than the outgoing model to meet the new emission norms.
There absolutely not styling changes on the motorcycle. No new graphics, no new colour schemes whatsoever. It comes in the same four colour options – Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Mat Axis Gray Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue.
It is powered by the same 162.7cc engine which is now OBD2 compliant. It produces the same output of 12.9 PS at 7500 RPM and 14 Nm at 5500 RPM. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. There are no other mechanical changes in the bike.
The Japanese bike maker is now offering 3 years of standard warranty along with the option of a 7 year extended warranty. This 10 year warranty package was also announced by Honda for the Dio.
The Honda Unicorn has got a ground clearance of 187 mm, kerb weight of 140 kg, 798 mm seat height and 13 litres of fuel tank capacity. The bike comes with 240 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brakes. It gets telescopic front suspension and monoshock rear suspension.
