Leaked Patent Image Reveals 2023 Honda CR-V’s Design

Some might say the previous model looked better compared to this

A patent image of the 2023 Honda CR-V has surfaced online, revealing the most of the SUV’s design, which the car manufacturer has tried very hard to conceal thus far.

Road tests of the upcoming sixth-generation CR-V began in early 2021. The new model has grown in size and looks much more mature when compared to its predecessor.

A flat bonnet, long but sharp headlights connected by a chrome trim piece, large radiator grille and a wide air intake lower down complete the front end design of the 3-row SUV.

Along the sides, the car has a sizeable greenhouse with chrome garnish, repositioned ORVMs, a character line that runs from the headlamps to the tail lights, and plastic cladding for the wheel arches and lower part of the doors.

The old model was discontinued in India in 2020

Fret not, these are not the final design of the wheels that the car will sport. Sadly, this is the only 2023 Honda CR-V patent image that is available. The rear profile and interior of the vehicle (expected to be much more roomier) cannot be seen for now.

But, the cabin will be completely revamped and will boast of plentiful new age features. The new CR-V will also come with better safety equipment and the latest driver-assistance technology.

To be unveiled in the latter part of this year and launched in several markets across the globe in 2023, the new CR-V will be powered by hybrid powertrains only.
